Odds are that the Dodgers will have to score plenty of runs this evening in support of reliever Carlos Monasterios who is making his major league debut as a starter and will be on a pitch count. On the mound for Pittsburgh tonight is Zach Duke who already is 2-0 OVER/ROAD this season courtesy of a horrible EIGHT ERA. Long term Duke is 21-9 OVER the spot when facing an opponent from the National League West. My database research also indicates that the Dodgers are 27-11 OVER the past two years when facing an opposing starter who has poor control issuing on average at least 2.75 walks per appearance.
