2010 NFL Playoffs for NFC Finals at Mall of America Metro dome -Minnesota
No. 3 Minnesota Vikings Vs. No. 4 Dallas Cowboys
Sunday, January 17th, 2010 At 1:00PM ET- on FOX

Vikings and Cowboys go at it in week 18 to determine who gets a seat in the NFC Championship game . As of now it is a tight spread, with only a 3-point spread in favor of the Vikings. With Minnesota at 12-4, and Dallas at 12-5, it's sure to be an explosive matchup. Both teams have an arsenal of weapons at their disposal, as two of the most dominating defenses and high-powered offenses go head to head on Sunday. It's sure to be a close offensive battle with both quarterbacks almost neck and neck for stats. QB Brett Favre hangs on to the lead with 4,202 passing yards, and 33 TD's. Not far behind, stands QB Tony Romo with 4,483 passing yards and 26 TD's.

QB Tony Romo will definitely have to be on the look-out for DE Jared Allen who is leading with 14.5 sacks so far this season. Can he add a few more this Sunday? Likewise QB Bret Farve better look sharp and choose his passes wisely. Dallas' defense has shut down the past four teams they have played, only letting them score a combined 14 points overall.

The big question that remains is, will RB Marion Barber's knee be in good enough shape to let him play on Sunday? With 932 yards rushing and 7TD's, Barber could be a major threat to the Vikings end zone. WR Miles Austin, with 1,320 YDS passing and 11TD's, is a force to be reckoned with and may be able to punch through Minnesota's defense.

Pick: Overall it should be a close game all the way to the end. The spread is in favor of the Vikings with a 3 point spread. Seeing how Minnesota has a 8-0 record on the home field we show the Vikings to win and cover the spread.
