Who would have thought prior to the season's start that the Heat would worry more about playing the Clippers than the Lakers? The Clippers are definitely a bigger threat than the Lakers this season, but LeBron James and gang should easily be able to handle the upstart Clippers.

Now that the pressure of a potential perfect season is over, the Heat seems to be playing much better, even though a perfect season was not even imaginable. LeBron James is hitting 60% of his field goal attempts and averaging 30 points per game. Add to that Chris Bosh shooting over 50% and Dwayne Wade at 45% and it is no wonder teams are having trouble stopping the Heat. The team has gelled this season better together than they ever have before.

As for the Clippers, they are just starting to get their stride, getting used to playing with new teammate Chris Paul. They are at the top of their division for the first time in many seasons. Paul is already hitting 52% of his field goal attempts and Blake Griffin is chipping in with a field goal percentage of .56, which means if they have a good night, they could give the Heat a game.

It is unlikely that the spread will be very big. Any team that has LeBron James on the court has a chance of winning and add to that Bosh and Wade and you have championship potential. The Clippers on the other hand are trying to learn how to win and get a winning attitude as they have had season after season of subpar finishes. Look for this to be a high scoring game with defense as a secondary thought. The Heat should finish the game with a double-digit winning margin and should score over 100 on the night.

Miami is just 6-4 in its last 10 games ATS against the Los Angeles Clippers. Eight of the last 10 games between the two teams have ended OVER in total scoring.

Take over 203.
