New Orleans has not be very successful since moving from North Carolina and thus far this season they haven?t given anyone reason to believe they will get any better, as they are only 27th in points per game. Match that against the hottest team on the planet, Oklahoma City, and it is difficult to see the Hornets winning this matchup. The Thunder are scoring an average of 100.5 points per game which is 5th best in the NBA and a far cry higher than New Orleans. Oklahoma's Kevin Durant is having an MVP start to his season averaging over 25 points and six rebounds per game. Russell Westbrook is dishing out nearly six assists a game and stealing the ball close to twice per contest. Since the move to Oklahoma and behind the play of Durant, the former SuperSonics are consistently making the playoffs and winning division titles. This team is playing thus far this season like they will easily earn a playoff spot and be a team to be reckoned with. Offensively New Orleans is led by Eric Remond who is averaging a respectable 21 points a game. In stark contrast, the Hornets are still hurting. They moved from North Carolina to Oklahoma City and landed in New Orleans in 2007. The team has an abysmal 913-941 overall record and only one division title. The loss of Chris Paul has left the team without a leader or go-to guy. In 8 of the last 10 games between the two teams, Oklahoma is 8-2 ATS. In 6 of the last 10 games between Oklahoma and New Orleans the total has been UNDER. New Orleans is 1-4 SU in its last five games. Oklahoma is 3-1 SU in its last four games.
Take Oklahoma City and the UNDER
